To all graphic designers and creative individuals out there who just need a few sellable vector ideas, look no further. 🙌

 

1.      Generationally Funny and Sarcastic Quotes

Funny and sarcastic quotes seem to be maintaining their popularity among the Etsy community. I’m not talkin’ about those cheesy sign quotes that you see on Pinterest. Instead, target specific age generations and use the appropriate humour to drive your quotes and you’ve hit a GOLD MINE. 💪 

 

2.     Faceless Characters

There are countless communities obsessing around specific TV shows and movie series. Tap into those popular markets with faceless characters and you WILL see results. 🤩

 

3.     Glass Tumbler Wraps

Though glass tumblers were at their peak in 2023, there is still a market for these in 2024! Ensure to use trendy patterns and graphics to create these wraps and market them to smaller businesses. Then you’re set. 😎

 

4.    Starbucks Tumbler Wraps

Similar to glass tumblers, these wraps are absolutely LOVED in the small business community. There are numerous designs you can create evolved around different themes, patterns, movies, personalities, and so on!

 

5.     Customizable Family Signs

I’ve seen a HUGE demand for customizable family signs on Etsy (Ex. Welcome to the Johnston’s home). There are a few tools that allow people to make customizations, such as Canva, so it’s essential to test what works best for you.

 

6.     Mommy & Mini Sets

Trust me when I tell you these are one of the TOP digital file sets to sell in 2024. You can create SVG bundles optimized for clothing and use cute sayings. 🥰 

 

7.     Animal Patterns

I don’t see these vectors going out of style anytime soon–these are so versatile. Start creating as many patterns as you can!! 🏃‍♂️

 

8.     Seasonal Vectors

As obvious as this one is, it’s still worth mentioning. These holiday vectors have their prime time throughout the year, so it’s essential you keep your timing in mind when creating new seasonal digital files. Aim to list these at least 3 months in advance.


9.     Anything Patriotic

People love to talk about their country and personality characteristics. As stereotypical as some of these quotes may be, people DIG them. Mention ‘EH’ in any Canadian SVG file and people will buy it, no joke. 🇨🇦 


10.  Instagram Highlights

There are so many different variations of Instagram highlights you can make! You can make these for spas, influencers, varieties of colour, coffee shops, the list goes on. Do some research and find out what styles and icon types are popular and start from there!


These are only 10 generic ideas that can get you started on your vector file seller journey. It’s important to keep in mind that these things may take some time to gain traction and get in front of the eyes of buyers, so don’t be discouraged!
